Our Life In Perak
Hello peeps of 3E! How are you feeling after spending 3 days 3 nights away from home, school? I hoped you all had a great time enjoying during the camp yar.So i guessed that you people are now STRESS-FREE,am i right? ok...i will not drag on and i will post about what we did during the camp itself.Hold on,before that,we would like to thanked Mr Raj,Ms Siti,Mdm Hasnah and Ms Yee for accompanying us to the camp.Without them, the camps were not smooth sailing at all. Also not forgetting Mr Francis and company for taking out their own time helping us out in the camp.So here it goes!
Day 1
We reached GUA TEMPURONG in the wee hours, around 7+am to be exact. We put all our bags on the porch and fall in according to the groups assigned to us.Then Mr Francis briefed us about the activity that we are going to do later.Once everything is done,we went for our breakfast and then fall in again. From there, group by group went into the huge dark cave with their torchlights on and we were shocked to see the unexpected things. As we went deep into the cave,we were flabbergasted to see alot of statue which had been formed by the waterfall itself for the past years. There were statue like the head of OSAMA,MONA LISA,RABBIT,CROCODILE,DEAD SOLDIER,GHOST and many more! Then at a certain height,we were told to slide down which is not that steep, about 45 degrees down.At that point,we could actually see our class teamwork which we did not see in class. The next thing was a water. We had to bent down, laid down, swim and everything that we could to underpass the small holes that were found there. It was an experienced to some of us as we did not do these kind of activities back in our own homeland.Once we swam our way through the cave,we went out and hanged ourslef dry.lol.Some managed to rinse and clean themself up while others were drenched! Once the caving activities had gone,we waited for the lorries to bring us to our campsites which was estimated to be 6km.Once we reached the base,we pitched our tents, had an afternon bathed and get ready for the next activity which was water rafting. We went down to the venue and put on our life jacket, helmet and paddle equipped with us.We then went to our respective boat and carried down to the river bank and everyone hopped onto it and started paddling the boat.We rafted a 10km journey. On the way, some boats were capsized while others got stucked by the rocks and the rest was smooth sailing. With every rock that they are stucked with,TEAMWORK and COOPERATION appeared. That was a good sign to some of us.Half way through,we stopped and had body rafting! coolness! Once everything is fin,we continued with the rest of the journey and came to a stopped. We went up and unequipped ourself with those rafting gears. We went up to the POW lorry and they brought us back to the campsite.Once again,we clean and got ready for dinner. We had a bbq on the first night.Went back to the tent and slept.
Day 2
Rise and shine at 6.30am.Did their business and all gathered at the porched for breakfast.Once eaten,we got ready ourself to go for absceiling. This absceiling is not the normal type of absceiling. Its the waterfall absceiling. It rocks to the core!! We wore the absceiling gear and got ready to absceil downwards. The rocks surface is like the Bukit Batok mountain. On the way down, some slipped and fall while others were steady.Next stop was the campsite.Rinse themself up and got ready for the blow pipe activity. This include setting up trap for animals. Some managed to get BULLSEYE while others missed it by a few inches. After everything has over, they prepared for the dinner and campfire.Dinner was as pernormal and campfire, they invited a group of ethnic people to performa dance for us called the SEWANG.Quite easy and simple dance, after that we had group performances by individual group.Once everything over,we had a debrief session and sleep.
Day 3
We left the campsite at 8.45am and headed to Berjaya Time Square for shopping. The ladies loves shopping a lot! hehe.We spent 5 hrs of shopping + playing the amusement theme park and we ate our dinner there. At the stroke of 6pm,we left for Singapore and stopover at Yong Peng at 9pm.There,we were surprised to see the rest of our classmates from Cameron Highland. After that,we left straight for Singapore. We reached Singapore at 11.45pm and home sweet home!
this is the longest post ever posted by the class.

WEST SRING IDOL OF 2006... TERRY 1A...
Terry receiving the WEST SPRING IDOL trophy from Mrs Liau
Terry, U Are So Cute...
Charmaine & Jasmine.. 3A

The Definition of COOL. . .
During CD period today, instead of spending time with our form teacher, we went to the hall for West Spring Idol. It was a guy against two girls for WS Idol this year. Jasmine and Charmaine of 3A was against a sec1 boy. It was quite painful to be there. We so much prefer the idol last year instead! It was very much a popularity contest instead of a talent quest!
Half way through the programme, the alumni had a band performance. Mdm Hasnah was involved, of course! As always she was as cool as ever. However, this time round, they invited Mr Hisham, HOD Mother Tongue, to sing for them. He sang 'Hotel California' and another song from Deep Purple. Even though most of us did not know the second song, we were so captivated by Mr Hisham’s voice!!!
He was Billy Joe from Greenday!
He was Steve Tyler from Aerosmith!
He was Kurt Cobain from Nirvana!
He was 'The Man'! Errrr. . . From West Spring!
For a moment, we thought that we were in a real rock concert instead of a stuffy, stinky hall! There was so much energy and zest in the performance. It was totally impressive. Apparently, students were not the only ones who were excited. During the competition, we heard screaming from the back of the hall and. . . Guess what! Miss Junaidah, Ms. Shorey and (CHECK THIS OUT!) Mrs. Yip were flushing with EXCITEMENT! We were surprised that they have so much energy at the end of the day! Such bewilderment! At the end of the WS Idol, the Sec. 1 boy won the competition.
It is sad that the best did not win... We all VOTED for Mr. Hisham.

Dude. I understand you are going through some problems lately. Believe me, I hear you. But there's no reason to go around insulting people based on your own issues. Just because you have a self-image problem doesn't mean you can go ahead and pick faults of others. You are wasting other people's time to insult them in a way that could only be appropriate for yourself. Get over it, and stop lashing out at me.
Sagittarius
Nov. 22 to Dec. 21
You are so amazing in so many ways this month. Everywhere and anywhere, you mark yourself as one who is up for anything. People want to be with you this month, make sure you prioritize and only hang out with only really really cool people. (Really cool people like me.)

Your recent change has impressed those around you. Everyone is going to ask to be kept in the loop about what's going on in your life. Tell them only what makes you sound fabulous. Two reasons: 1) It's easier to pretend than face "reality" and 2) No one wants to hear your problems anyway.
Pisces
Feb. 19 to March 20
Lost in space. That's you. Missionless, depleted of any emotion, and severely craving oxygen. Take advantage of the crisp autumn air and get out of the city. Take a hike, literally. You'll clear you mind and feel recharged for the many tasks ahead of you in the next few months.
Aries
March 21 to April 19
Awesome. Your energies are up. Just in time for lots of work to get piled on your plate. But no worries- you've got enough energy to finish in time, and enough resources to help you, should you need them. So you should breeze through as if watching your ideal world opening before your eyes. Cool, right? Just make sure you thank those that help, otherwise you will get nothing in the future. You've been warned.

Lately you've been feeling alone and unsure of most everything, most importantly your current living situation. Should you move, should you stay, should you have Chinese or Mexican tonight? I ask you this: Would you ponder the same thing in your next location? Well?
Virgo
Aug. 23 to Sept. 22
You've been working your ever-expanding ass off lately, but where has it gotten you? Perhaps earning a smidge more than before, but with no friends and a spongy behind? Something to ponder when you're watching yet another cheesy Nora Ephron movie on yet another lonely Saturday night. Take heart, however; you are the master of your own fate. So work on that whole work/life balance thing and you might just find yourself watching Sleepless in Seattle with someone special before the year is over.
Our school held the Musical @ Senja today. Some of us were involved. The guest of honour was the mayor, Dr Teo Ho Pin. We have never seen him up close and personal before. This was our first time!! Surprisingly, he looked friendly and approachable. The Musical @ Senja event was held to commemorate Earth Day, and many primary schools participated in this event. The five finalists were Bukit View Primary, Bukit Timah Primary, De Lasalle Primary, Zhenghua Primary and Greenridge Primary School.
It was interesting to see these primary school students dancing, singing and prancing around on the stage to perform their musical pieces regarding Mother Earth. They were so adorable and endearing in their thick make-up and cute, little costumes! It reminded us so much of the times we spent when we were at their age.
Everything was simple and carefree. We do not have to worry so much about the ‘N’ levels, the members of the opposite sex and most importantly ACNE!!!! Life in secondary school is much more fast-paced and heart-pumping! We spent so much time in school, so anxious to meet datelines and so concerned of keeping up with the current TRENDS…
It is sad but that’s the way of life. Guess we all have to grow up.
JOKE
Memory Fails
A 65-year-old woman gave birth to a baby boy.
When she was discharged from the hospital and went home, her relative came to visit.
"May we see the new baby?" one asked.
"Not yet," said the mother. "l'll make coffee and can visit for a while first." Thirty minutes had passed, and another relative asked, "May we see the new baby now?"
"No, not yet," said the mother.
After another few minutes had elapsed, they asked again, "May we see the baby now?"
"No, not yet," replied the mother.
Growing very impatient, they asked, "Well, when can we see the baby?"
"WHEN HE CRIES!" she told them.
"WHEN HE CRIES?" they demanded to know why.
Why do we have to wait until he CRIES?"
"BECAUSE, l forget where I put him!"
At The Old Folks Home
One day at the rest home, an old man and woman were talking.
Out of nowhere the woman said, "l can guess your age."
The man did not believe her, but told her to go ahead and try.
"Open your mouth," she said. He did not understand but did it anyway.
She laughed loudly for a few seconds and then said, "You're 84 year old." "That's amazing," the man say. "How did you know?"
"You told me yesterday."
